The MICO subdirectory contains a script (irserv) and C++ program used to compile an IDL file and return the IOR used by idl2perl to process the results. This is for MICO versions earlier than 2.3.1. In version 2.3.1, MICO's ird program accepts a --ior option and writes its own IOR to the standard output. The VisiBroker directory contains a C++ irserv. The IR should be set up with the appropriate compiled definitions before running idl2perl. $Id: README 1206 2006-05-31 07:11:53Z rvosa $
